With nearly 20 year of experience, James Galbraith grew up in the restaurant industry of SW Michigan. Like many, his love of cooking started after landing a gig washing dishes as a teen, where he learned the ropes around the kitchen. Fast forward to 2019 when James along with his sister Cheyenne, welcomed their first diners to their New American restaurant Houndstooth in Benton Harbor, MI. James while stationed across the lake, has been mentored and taken opportunities that afforded him the pleasure of being immersed in the best of Chicago's concept restaurants. In the fall of 2022 James and his wife Gabrielle opened up a second restaurant, Anemel, showcasing casual yet classy Midwest meets Tex-Mex.
